Precision Medical Implant Housings
Client Requirements
A European medical device corporation required surgical-grade implant housings crafted from SUS316L Stainless Steel. The target geometry demanded zero burrs and an incredibly smooth surface finish value (Ra < 0.2) to prevent tissue rejection in surgical implants.
Machining & Electroplating Finishing Execution
Our micro-machining engineers programed high-precision milling centers. We executed fine turning operations using custom polycrystalline diamond (PCD) cutting tools. Following the cutting steps, the parts were electropolished and chemical-passivated within our integrated cleaning workshops to guarantee maximum chemical purity.
Project Outcomes
Dimensions were successfully certified within ±0.002mm boundaries. Our zero-defect quality check model ensured full compliance with regulatory parameters, leading to bulk production approval immediately.
